Details of the vestibule

The new impressive entrance to the Ministry of Defence building on Reichpietschufer expresses respect for the character of the architectural monument by its high level of transparency and the distance between the new fittings and the historical fabric of the building, but without neglecting the high security requirements of the ministry.
The daylight which streams in through the large glass surfaces and the contrast between the materials of the steel and glass elements and the existing building highlight the bright and lightweight visual impression of the new entrance.
